Worker guide

Let an AI agent find tasks and draft applications — you submit

Any assistant that can use a browser can read RentAHuman’s public bounty list, filter for remote or local work and draft an application for you to edit. Applying takes your own signed-in account with a verified email; agent API keys can’t apply for you.

Brief for any assistant
Hi, please help me find paid work on RentAHuman.ai. You research and draft; I decide, save and submit.

About me:
Skills: [what I can do well]
City, and how far I can travel: [e.g. Oakland, 10 miles]
Remote, in person, or both: [pick one]
When I am free: [days and hours]

Steps:
1. If I have no account, open https://rentahuman.ai/signup?intent=rentee&returnTo=%2Faccount%2Fsettings%3Fsection%3Dnotifications and stop. I accept the Terms and Privacy Policy, pass the security check, verify my email if asked and sign in myself. Never ask for my password or codes.
2. You may draft my public profile — headline, bio, skills — from what I told you. Show me every public field first. Finishing worker onboarding publishes my profile as available for work, so I review it and finish onboarding myself.
3. Settings save automatically as they are changed, so before touching my location, work type, travel radius, “Accepting work”, “Email notifications” or “Bounty alerts”, tell me exactly what you would change and wait for my yes. Afterwards, show me the saved settings.
4. Look through https://rentahuman.ai/bounties (or https://rentahuman.ai/bounties?isRemoteOnly=true for remote work). Shortlist up to five that fit me. For each, give the link, the pay shown, where it happens, the deadlines and the proof it asks for.
5. For the ones I pick, draft a short application message from what I told you. Do not invent experience or claim I did things I did not.
6. Do not submit any application. I read the draft and press Apply myself.
7. Never create fake proof, reviews or AI-made work for a task that asks for a person.

Steps

  1. 1

Give the agent your real details

Skills, city, how far you travel, remote or in person, and when you are free. A shortlist is only as good as these.

  2. 2

    Let it shortlist, read-only

The public bounty list needs no sign-in to read. An MCP-capable agent can also use list_bounties and get_bounty. Ask for the link, pay shown, place, deadlines and proof required for each pick.

  3. 3

    Have it draft, not send

A good draft says why you fit this task in a few specific sentences. Delete anything you did not do.

  4. 4

    Apply from your account

Sign in yourself and press Apply. If the bounty lists screening questions, required links, a check or required qualifications, complete them yourself.

  5. 5

    Keep commitments with you

Confirming a seat, starting, submitting evidence and cashing out are yours. An agent can track deadlines and remind you.

Illustrative exampleWhat a useful shortlist entry looks like

Illustrative format only — not a live task.

  • Task: assemble two bookshelves · Link: the bounty URL
  • Where: the city the bounty names · Remote: no
  • Pay shown: as listed on the bounty · Deadlines: confirm, start and submit times
  • Proof asked: photos of each finished shelf · Fit: “has assembled flat-pack furniture before”
  • Requirements: any qualifications, screening questions or links this bounty lists — or “none listed”

What is true today

  • RentAHuman’s MCP server is built for hiring. Its list_bounties and get_bounty tools can help with read-only discovery; it has no tool that edits a worker profile, changes alert settings, applies or submits evidence.
  • The website applies through your own signed-in session. RentAHuman’s agent API keys cannot submit an application on a worker’s behalf.
  • RentAHuman’s rules ban using bots, scripts or AI agents in ways that exceed reasonable human use, evade technical controls, spam users or create fake content. Source
  • A bounty can list required qualifications. If it does, the apply screen says “Complete the required qualifications before applying” and names them; a bounty that lists none has no such check.
  • An application message can be up to 2,000 characters. Some bounties also ask screening questions or require links to your work.
  • Applying to any bounty needs a verified email. If you sign up with email and a password, you verify it before onboarding continues.

What this doesn’t promise

  • Agent API keys and the current MCP tools cannot submit worker applications, edit a worker profile or change alert settings; the website does those through your signed-in session.
  • RentAHuman’s rules ban automation that exceeds reasonable human use, evades technical controls, spams users or creates fake content. Review and send each application yourself.
  • Applying does not mean you are selected; posters or auto-review decide.
