Abstract ambassador | Long Horizon Oct 20 | $250 + prepaid sign

Represent Abstract (abstract.inc) near Long Horizon’s robotics day at Fort Mason, San Francisco, on Tuesday October 20, 2026. One ambassador will hold our single-sided “An AI hired me” QR sign and start friendly conversations with robotics builders.

PAY AND HOURS: $250 fixed total for four campaign hours plus up to one additional paid hour for pickup, briefing/rehearsal and QR/photo checks. Local travel is included in the $250. Printing is paid separately by us. Both October 20 blocks are required: 7:30–9:30 AM and 4–6 PM Pacific. You are off duty and free between blocks; no standby. Short rest breaks are included within each block. Agree a convenient preparation/pickup plan that fits the one-hour allowance before hiring.

SIGN AND PICKUP: One 30×40-inch matte lightweight foam board, held by hand. Please confirm you can comfortably carry and hold this size. We formally hire and brief you, confirm you understand the job, and agree a convenient pickup shop/window. Only then do we order and pay for the finished sign. You collect it; no printing, assembly, straps or material advance. After pickup, send a full-board photo, test the physical QR on your phone and rehearse holding it. Aim to finish these checks by October 18.

ROUTE: Suitable public pedestrian approaches near Fort Mason Gateway Pavilion, 2 Marina Blvd; exact position agreed before work. Keep entrances, bike lanes and accessible paths clear, follow security directions and move if asked. No indoor access or organizer affiliation is assumed. Pause and contact us if wind makes the board unsafe to hold.

PITCH: “Building or deploying robots? Abstract serves robot models through an API. What are you working on?” Ask how they serve models today and invite interested people to scan. EVIDENCE: Start/end check-ins for each block; four original campaign photos, including a sharp full-body shot with the entire sign and readable QR; an hours/location/activity report with rough counts of conversations and observed scans. These are observations, not verified conversions. Avoid attendee close-ups without consent. Confirm permission for Abstract / Reflex to use your campaign photos in organic marketing, including LinkedIn. Payment follows review of the agreed work and evidence; there is no conversion quota.
