Expert technical review of a climate-risk, flood-risk or water-resources report. I check methodology, data sources, hydrological and climate assumptions, and consistency of conclusions. You get a written summary of errors, gaps and concrete recommendations. Backed by 15 years of experience in hydrology, climate adaptation and loss-and-damage assessment.

I visit a location in Ecuador and document it on the ground: 15+ geotagged, timestamped photos, GPS coordinates, and a short written description of conditions (river, rain gauge, infrastructure, flooding marks, land use). Suitable for insurance, due diligence, research or project monitoring. Evidence is delivered as a shared folder plus a one-page summary.

about
I am a climate change, water resources, and loss and damage specialist with 15 years of professional experience. I help governments, development organizations, and local communities assess climate risks, quantify economic losses, design adaptation measures, and evaluate environmental projects.
My work combines hydrological and hydraulic modelling, GIS, climate projections, and PDNA/DALA methodologies to support practical decisions on flood mitigation, water security, and infrastructure resilience. I have coordinated the design of Ecuador’s National Loss and Damage Mechanism, led a national adaptation portfolio of 21 projects, and developed methods for estimating climate-related losses across six sectors.
I also conduct independent evaluations for UNDP/GEF projects, translating document reviews, field visits, stakeholder interviews, and indicator analysis into clear findings and actionable recommendations. My experience includes biodiversity conservation, climate finance, environmental safeguards, and greenhouse gas emissions accounting for water and sanitation infrastructure.
Alongside consulting, I teach graduate courses in climate adaptation and integrated watershed management and supervise research on climate resilience, hydrological modelling, and carbon estimation. I hold master’s degrees in Watershed Management and Energy Project Management, and bring strong technical writing, project leadership, and stakeholder coordination skills to multidisciplinary assignments.
Available for: remote technical review, climate/hydrology data analysis, ES↔EN technical translation, and on-the-ground verification in Ecuador (photo/GPS-documented site visits, gauge checks, stakeholder interviews). Fast turnaround, evidence delivered with timestamps and coordinates.
