I am an aspiring Biochemistry professional currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science at Illinois Wesleyan University, with an anticipated graduation in May 2028. My academic journey is complemented by hands-on research in analytical chemistry, where I've gained experience in data analysis using Excel, developing technical laboratory skills, and managing independent project responsibilities. I've had the opportunity to present my research findings at regional conferences, effectively communicating complex scientific information to diverse audiences and engaging in professional scientific discussions. Beyond academics, I hold leadership roles as Vice President of the Chemistry Club and Tinkering Titans, where I organize community-building events, foster teamwork, and coordinate activities. I also serve as a General Chemistry Teaching Assistant, mentoring students in high-stress academic settings and providing individualized academic support to foster inclusive learning environments. My practical experience includes serving as a Resident Assistant at an assisted living facility, where I provided direct patient care, managed overnight supervision, and responded to medical emergencies, developing strong interpersonal and crisis response skills. I've also gained exposure to professional healthcare environments through physician shadowing. Additionally, I am a professionally trained harpist, performing for community events and nursing homes, and have a background in various volunteer roles, including tutoring and community service.
