MSc Physics Student | Condensed Matter Physics | Magnetism & Quantum Materials Researcher
I am a final-year MSc Physics student at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, deeply interested in condensed matter physics, magnetism, and quantum materials. My academic journey has provided me with strong foundations in theoretical and experimental physics, including advanced topics like quantum mechanics, statistical physics, and solid-state physics. I have hands-on experience in experimental characterization techniques, which I applied during my MSc thesis where I synthesized rare-earth-based Kagome magnets via solid-state reaction methods and conducted structural, magnetic, and thermodynamic measurements. I am proficient in analyzing experimental data to study magnetic ordering, frustration effects, and low-temperature phases, utilizing tools like XRD, PPMS, and SQUID. Additionally, I am adept with various computational tools and programming languages such as Python, Wolfram Mathematica, Java, and Javascript, and familiar with libraries like NumPy, SciPy, and Matplotlib. I am eager to apply my research skills and analytical abilities to challenging projects.
