Manuel Blechschmidt

Manuel Blechschmidt is CEO and co-managing director of service health erx GmbH & Inc, a Virginia and Berlin-based healthcare IT company specializing in Germany's Telematikinfrastruktur (TI). Under his leadership, the company builds and operates products such as epa4all, KIM Relay, Cardlink, Basis Consumer, and the PoPP Module, helping healthcare providers and software vendors connect securely to Germany's national digital health infrastructure. With more than 20 years of experience in enterprise IT, Manuel's career spans e-commerce (Salesforce Commerce Cloud / Demandware), SAP hospital information systems (IS-H / i.s.h.med), and, for the past decade, German digital health infrastructure. He is a certified gematik TI-Architekt with deep expertise in Konnektor, KIM, ePA, eRezept, and CardLink integrations, PKI/HSM security, FHIR interoperability, and cross-border healthcare data standards. He is building a US-based healthcare IT consulting practice in the Washington, D.C. area. Manuel holds an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in IT Systems Engineering from the Hasso Plattner Institute at the University of Potsdam and attended IPMA-certified courses in project management. He founded Incentergy GmbH before establishing service health erx and splits his time between Berlin and McLean, Virginia. Outside of work, he is a runner, a Peloton enthusiast, and passionate about aviation and robotics.
