We are seeking one trumpet player for a three-hour outdoor street marketing activation in San Francisco’s legal district on Monday, August 3, 2026. The campaign uses a humorous musical contrast to dramatize two different experiences with legal services: - “Your Current Law Firm” represents the stress, confusion, and frustration people often associate with traditional legal services. - “Your Own, New, AI Native Law Firm” represents a warmer, simpler, and more enjoyable alternative. The two sides will perform near one another with a free book table between them. A musical group representing the modern alternative will play polished, uplifting love songs. The trumpet performer will take on the contrasting theatrical role. Using deliberately off-key, repetitive, awkward, or dissonant playing, the performer will humorously represent the frustrating “current law firm” experience. This is a deliberate comedic performance—not a judgment of the performer’s musical ability. Trumpet players of all experience levels are welcome. The most important qualifications are understanding the creative concept, committing to the role, performing reliably throughout the three-hour activation, and following the event lead’s direction. Compensation is $600 fixed. The performer must bring their own trumpet and be comfortable performing outdoors in public. To be considered, submit a short, viewable video of yourself playing trumpet and confirm your availability by Saturday, August 1 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time. The exact performance start and end times and street address will be confirmed with the selected performer.
