**ROUND 2** We are collecting voice recordings of short English sentences for a language research project. You can apply to multiple rounds of this research. **Your task** Record 20 short English sentences. Each sentence must be recorded twice—once for each of two different intended meanings—using natural, meaning-appropriate prosody. This is 80 short audio recordings in total. You will receive a Recording Sheet and complete instructions after accepting the job. **Recording instructions** - Record only the exact TARGET TEXT shown on the Recording Sheet; do not add, omit, or substitute words. - Make two separate recordings for every sentence, following the intended meaning indicated in the sheet. - Speak naturally at a conversational pace, with clear pronunciation and natural intonation. - Record in a quiet indoor space with minimal background noise, echo, music, or interruptions. - Use the same voice and consistent recording setup throughout the session. - Submit clearly labeled audio files in the format and naming convention provided in the instructions. **Eligibility** - Native speaker of English. - Able to produce clear, natural English speech. - Comfortable recording short scripted sentences independently. **Quality standards:** - No background music, echo, or heavy ambient noise - Natural speaking pace, consistent volume, no microphone artifacts
