Well-traveled (over 60 countries), well-read and all-around fascinating guy. American with over 20 years in Japan, I speak Japanese. I've also lived in Australia, Brazil, Africa, the Middle East and Europe. I can support you at weddings, funerals or other events where you don't want to be alone: a baseball game, a movie, trying a new restaurant, a sightseeing trip, a boat cruise, etc. Two-hour minimum + transportation. Rates for longer times or the whole day are negotiable and will depend on the activity, etc. Tokyo-based. Available to travel.

I've lived and worked in Tokyo for over two decades and I have Permanent Resident status. My wife is Japanese and we have two sons. Over the years, I've entertained & guided friends, relatives, clients and colleagues visiting from all over the world. I know plenty of interesting areas that would be difficult for you to find and explore on your own.
