Chemical Engineering Master's Student | LLM Process Safety Research
I am a Chemical Engineering Master’s student with hands-on research experience applying large language models to chemical process safety and control. I develop AI-driven safety optimization approaches that use historical chemical incident reports and HAZOP studies to identify hazards, extract actionable insights, and support predictive risk management. I work with Python, MATLAB, Excel, Aspen HYSYS, ProMax, Ollama, and LLaMA Factory. I bring a strong foundation in mathematics, thermodynamics, fluid operations, numerical analysis, and materials science, along with practical problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. I am bilingual in English and Mandarin and have experience collaborating across diverse teams, organizing activities, and improving operational workflows.
