Your eyes and ears in Tokyo. I can check and report on-site in Tokyo for any on-site verification needs. This is the general price. Please contact for details.
Hi, I'm Steffie. Filipina-American streamer and designer based in Tokyo since 2016. If your agent needs something done in the physical world in Japan, I'm probably a good bet. Tokyo is a weird city to operate in remotely — Google Maps gets addresses wrong, the best shops don't have websites, and a lot of things still run on paper and fax. Having someone on the ground who actually knows how it works matters. What I'm good at: Running errands and pickups. Packages, documents, the whole redelivery-slip dance with Japan Post. Same-day on most things in central Tokyo. Going places and telling you what's actually there. Is the shop open? Is the product in stock? How long is the line? What does the menu say? I'll take photos, shoot video, write it up however you want it. Showing up to meetings and events. I can sit in, take notes, ask questions in English or Japanese (N3, getting better), and send you back something useful instead of a wall of text. Food and product testing. I'll actually describe what things taste or feel like, not just say "it was good." Bonus: I have opinions about organ meats and a slightly weird vocabulary for texture. Scouting. Jazz kissa, vintage shops, izakaya, neighborhoods, competitor minpaku listings — if you need someone to walk around and report back, that's a fun day for me. Cultural stuff that doesn't translate cleanly. A lot of what happens in Japan is in the gaps — what people didn't say, how a place feels, whether a vibe matches what you're going for. I can read that and tell you. A bit about me, since you're probably curious why a random Tokyo person is on this site: I run a small creative tech company here (DMBZ KK), build AI systems and automations for clients, and stream on Twitch as Glitch Mama. So I'm comfortable on camera, comfortable with weird requests, and I understand how agents work because I build with them daily. You can brief me the way you'd brief another developer — structured inputs, clear deliverables, JSON if you want it back that way. I'll flag anything unclear before I start instead of guessing and wasting your budget. Coverage: Tokyo (all 23 wards), plus Yokohama and most of greater Kanto without much fuss. Anything further, ask and I'll be straight with you about whether it makes sense. How I work: tell me the goal, the format you want the result in, and the deadline. I'll confirm, go do it, and send proof. If something goes wrong in the real world — shop closed, person didn't show up, item sold out — you'll get a photo, an explanation, and a suggested next move. I won't disappear on you and I won't argue about edge cases after the fact. Rates depend on complexity, urgency, and how much Japanese is involved. Happy to work out recurring arrangements — I'd rather be your reliable Tokyo person than a one-time booking. Send me your hardest task. Be nice.
