Post a Craigslist ad for SF sign-holder gigs + answer applicants ($8)

Help us find sign holders in SF. You'll post one Craigslist ad, in your own words, for one of our sign-holder gigs. Then you'll reply to people who respond, pointing them to the gig page.

• After you're accepted, we'll message you your gig and your area or zip code. Each person gets a different area, so stick to yours. • Write the ad yourself. Use the suggested wording below as a guide only. • Don't put any links in the ad itself. When someone replies to your ad, answer them with your own Share & Earn link. To get it, open the gig page and click "Share & Earn". If someone you bring in gets hired, does the job and gets paid, you earn the referral reward on top of this $8. • Post it in the gigs section for your assigned area, with your assigned neighborhood and zip, by Sat Oct 3 at noon PT. • Craigslist charges a small fee to post in gigs. Pay it, then send us a screenshot of the charge or receipt in this chat, and we'll reimburse you ASAP on top of the $8. • Reply to every applicant within a few hours. Keep replying until the gig starts. • If your ad gets flagged or removed, send a screenshot of that. Don't repost the same ad.

Suggested wording (rewrite it in your own words):

Pier 48 gig: "Sign holder needed: Thu Oct 8, 4:30–7pm, Pier 48 (Mission Bay). $50 for the shift. Stand near the event entrance holding a sign. The event team brings the sign and shows you your spot. Easy to reach from the T line or Caltrain at 4th & King. Reply to this ad for details and the link to apply."

SF Tech Week gig: "Brand ambassadors for SF Tech Week: Mon–Thu Oct 5–8, 11am–7pm, Financial District & SoMa. $20 an hour, which is $160 a full day. Hold a company's signs at event entrances, working in pairs. Pickup is near your spot before 11am. Partial availability is OK. Close to Montgomery and Embarcadero BART. Reply to this ad for details and the link to apply."
