DESCRIPTION
Propel Earth (propel.earth) is an AI-powered platform designed to help founders of companies connect with the right people, resources, and support — similar in concept to AI routing apps but tailored specifically for the startup and founder ecosystem.
The founder and CEO is looking for an experienced developer to dive into the existing codebase (which has been largely "vibe coded") and help bring the platform to a launchable state. The goal is to have a working version ready ahead of a major demo day in approximately 5 weeks, where companies from a business accelerator program will be onboarded to the platform.
Scope of Work:
- Review the existing codebase and identify structural issues, bugs, and incomplete user journeys
- Help reorganize and refactor code to improve stability and maintainability
- Finalize and polish key user journeys so they are functional end-to-end
- Assist with QA and testing across the platform's core flows
- Provide recommendations and implement fixes to bring the platform to a launchable MVP state
- Collaborate directly with the founder (based in NYC) via remote sessions
The ideal candidate has experience with AI integrations, full-stack web development, and can work efficiently to deliver results within a tight timeline. You will be working closely with the founder, so strong communication skills are essential.
DEFINITION OF DONE
The platform's core user journeys are fully functional and tested end-to-end. A structured bug/review report has been delivered covering all major flows. The codebase has been reorganized and refactored to a launchable MVP state. The founder has reviewed and signed off on the work.
