Task
https://github.com/emma2bean-bot/orbit-releases/releases/tag/v0.2.10Orbit is a small Mac menu-bar app that reads your Messages on your Mac (locally, nothing leaves your computer) and helps you keep up with friends you have not replied to. You need: a Mac on macOS 14 or newer, Apple Messages set up on that Mac with real conversations, and permission to record your screen. Download Orbit.dmg from the page above, open it, drag Orbit to Applications, and open it from Applications. It is a beta signed by the developer, so macOS will not block it. Record your screen with narration the whole time. Privacy: you may blur or skip showing message contents; we only need to see how Orbit behaves. When done, quit Orbit from its Settings and drag it to the Trash if you like.
THIS RUN: fresh eyes on the words. You are testing whether Orbit explains itself. Set it up from scratch and use it for 20 minutes.
- On every setup screen, pause and say in your own words what Orbit is telling you and what it wants you to do. Flag anything unclear, too long, or that you had to read twice.
- In the popup: what do "Later", "No reply needed", "Open in Messages", the rings (Inner / Close / Wider / New), the suggestion "X to your orbit?", and the progress bars mean to you, before you try them?
- Open Settings and do the same for each section.
- Set a notification time a few minutes ahead. When the notification arrives, read its text: does it tell you what to do?
- Tell us the three most confusing sentences you saw, quoting them, and how you would rewrite each.
- Tell us anything that felt pushy, guilt-trippy, or like marketing. Report: your quotes and rewrites, plus anything broken you noticed along the way.

Each required test item must be backed by video evidence: a timestamped range in your recording or a short clip.
