Convenience Store Price Survey – Photo Documentation (USA)

We need someone to visit their local, independently run convenience store (NO major gas station chains such as Shell, BP, Chevron, Circle K, Wawa, etc.) and take clear photos of products with their prices visibly displayed.

Items to photograph (price tag must be clearly visible in each photo):

• Gum
• Chocolate bars
• Cigarettes
• Energy drinks
• Tylenol / painkillers

Substitution rule: If any of the above items cannot be found in the store, substitute with a different category item such as motor oil, magazines, ice cream, or similar. Note the substitution in your submission.

Requirements:

• Must be a locally/independently owned convenience store — major gas station brands do not qualify
• All photos must be taken live in-app at the time of the visit — no pre-taken or uploaded images
• Each photo must clearly show the product and its price label
• Include the store name/signage in at least one photo so we can verify it is an independent shop
