DESCRIPTION
We are collecting human egocentric video data for robotics research. Participants will wear a head-mounted camera while performing everyday household tasks using their mobile phone. This data will be used to train and improve robotic systems that understand human behavior in home environments.
What you'll do:
- Mount a camera on your head (head-mounted camera setup)
- Perform any household task of your choice (e.g., cooking, cleaning, organizing, doing laundry, washing dishes, gardening, repairs, installation etc.)
- Record the session from your head-mounted camera using your mobile phone
- Submit the recorded footage
Details:
- Work from anywhere in the US — fully remote from your home
- Sessions can be any length
- You may work up to 20 hours per week
- Pay is $9.50/hour — log your hours and submit footage accordingly
This is an ongoing data collection effort with 500 spots available.
DEFINITION OF DONE
Participant has submitted at least one recorded video of themselves performing a household task using a head-mounted camera. max 20 hours/week. Video footage is clear, continuous, and shows the egocentric (first-person) perspective throughout the task.
