DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an event coordination specialist in San Francisco to help run an all-day complex tech event on June 6, 2026, preferably someone with hackathon experience. This is a paid trial event at $800. If the trial goes well, we are looking for someone with the capacity to move into a monthly role supporting future SF events.
The ideal person has experience managing event staff day-of, coordinating across partners, sponsors, venues, and internal stakeholders, and understands hackathons, builders, developer communities, and technical event dynamics.
DEFINITION OF DONE
Completed when the coordinator has successfully supported planning and all-day day-of execution for the June 6, 2026 SF tech event, including staff coordination, stakeholder communication, venue/sponsor/partner coordination, and a post-event handoff or debrief. Success means the event runs smoothly, major issues are escalated promptly, and the team receives a concise recap of outcomes, open items, and recommendations for future monthly events.

EVIDENCE DETAILS
Submit a short post-event recap covering staff managed, stakeholders coordinated, major issues handled, decisions made, and recommendations for future monthly SF events. Include any relevant planning documents, run-of-show links, staffing sheets, or communication trackers if available.
