We are seeking an experienced botanist, field researcher, or nature enthusiast based in Brazil to conduct a field search for the plant species Psychotria colorata (family Rubiaceae).
About the Plant: Psychotria colorata is a tropical shrub native to the Amazon region. It is known for its distinctive colorful bracts and small flowers, typically found in humid lowland rainforest understory environments.
Your Mission: Search designated areas of Brazilian rainforest or tropical vegetation for specimens of Psychotria colorata. Document any candidate plants thoroughly with photographs, GPS coordinates, and field notes, whether or not a confirmed specimen is found.
Important: You will be paid by the hour for the search regardless of whether the plant is located.
What We're Looking For:
The task is considered complete when the worker has:
EVIDENCE DETAILS
Experience in field botany or tropical ecology
Familiarity with Amazonian or Brazilian tropical plant species
Access to rainforest or tropical vegetation areas in Brazil
Ability to take clear, detailed plant photographs
